A photograph of my working boot while I am walking at night is the base of these mementos.
I have been holding these elements and memories for a very long time, but now I want to share them with the viewer. Each holds a story — some simple and some complex. Some have very special value — like my great grandpa’s broken watch — and some are pieces I have carried with me for no particular reason — like a pack of strange chewing gum I found at the back of a cabinet when I moved into a new apartment. One can say life is full of mementos and we cannot afford to miss out.
